AI, around the clockPeople Profile Mandate Casting watch Self-tape Role and contract
  1. Profile

Identity, physical profile, media, specialties and availability. A reel filmed on a phone is enough to start.

  2. Mandate

The contract an artist signs with an agent. It is free, governed by French law, and can be ended at any time.

  3. Casting watch

The system monitors casting calls continuously, in France and abroad, and compares each one with the profile.

  4. Self-tape

The studio guides framing, lighting and sound in real time, and a vocal coach helps with accents. The performer records several versions and sends the best.

  5. Role and contract

Agental negotiates the fee and terms, and a person checks the contract before signing. The performer is paid within seven days of the production paying.

This is a simplified demo. The real map lets you explore every block.

City Pretty prototype showing Culver City blocks shaded by value per dollar, with the Carlson Park block selected.

Screenshot of the prototype, 24 October 2026. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.

  1. The selected block

Around Carlson Park, Culver City: 259 acres and 1,419 homes, with a typical home value of $1.5M.

  2. Map layers

Streets, creeks, trails and rail, parks, schools, open tree sites and vacant lots can each be switched on or off.

  3. Block shading

Blocks are colored by their best value per public dollar, from $2.1 to $31, in seven equal-count groups. Gray means no data.

  4. Block data

34% canopy over streets, 1.3°F cooler than the Westside average, and 21.8 acres of parks within half a mile.

  5. Recommendation

The model suggests 129 street trees on vacant sites for about $175k with 10 years of upkeep, adding about $1.7M across 686 homes, or $9.83 per public dollar. All values are modeled.

This is a simplified demo. The real simulator runs 90 homes and more scenarios.

Base Grid powerShared batteriesOffHome battery

Everyone is on the grid. Any switch can always open, and closing has to pass every check.

  1. Substation

Where grid power enters. When it fails, the switches let each part of the line carry on without it.

  2. Line switch

A 12 to 34 kV recloser covering about 300 homes, estimated at $50k to $120k, mostly hardware utilities already buy.

  3. Transformer switch

Lets about 15 homes run as one island, estimated at $4k to $9k.

  4. Home switch

A 200 A meter-collar switch with a manual handle and padlock hasp, about $143 in parts by our estimate.

  5. Base

A base or hospital at the end of the line powers itself first, then lends its surplus to the neighborhood.

Simplified drawing. The simulator models 90 homes, and neither has been tested on hardware.

This is a simplified demo. The real site replays the Palisades Fire on actual data.

City main Meter
  1. City main

During the Palisades Fire, burned homes left their lines open while firefighters needed every gallon. Sealing each line keeps that water in the system.

  2. Valve

Water pressure holds a spring-loaded gate up, out of the service line. When pressure falls, the spring drives it down, with no power or electronics in the shutoff path.

  3. Fragile loop

A thin dead-end pipe around the house. Fire bursts it or a collapse crushes it, and pressure falls. Hosing the house does not trip it, because the loop has no outlet.

  4. Reset handle

Cap or repair the loop, then pull the handle. Pressure rebuilds, re-cocks the spring and holds the gate open again.

Illustrative numbers from the team's mechanism demo. Design concept, not yet built or heat-tested.

This is a simplified demo. The real site has the full project.

Collect Clean and grind Press Mold Install
  1. Collect

Plastic waste is collected from oceans and shorelines with coastal communities and organizations such as Plastic Odyssey.

  2. Clean and grind

The material is cut to fit the grinder, ground to a uniform particle size, and dried with humidity under control.

  3. Press

Hot pressing takes one to two hours in an oven, then the piece cools. Cold pressing is the alternative, depending on the material.

  4. Mold

Extrusion fills a generic mold, with injection molding as an alternative. Marine sediments give a mineral-based material option.

  5. Install

Furniture goes into public spaces, with a label planned to explain its materials and origins.

Agental

Co-founder, technology and product, since March 2026

Most performers never get an agent. Agental signs them with a real, written mandate, and AI does the searching.

The AI watches casting calls continuously, compares each one with a performer's age, look, languages, location and availability, and prepares the application. The performer keeps control, and a person checks every contract before it is signed. Casting directors describe a role and get a short list where each ranking explains itself.

I write the code: I architect the whole platform and own product and AI integration. My co-founder, a working actor, runs content and client relations, and we lead fundraising together.

What brings you here?

Get represented for free and stop sorting listings yourself.

  • The mandate is free, governed by French law, and you can end it whenever you want.
  • Commission starts at 10% and drops to 5% on higher plans.
  • Self-tape Studio coaches framing, lighting, sound and accents during the take.

Get a short list that is ready to call in.

  • Availability, image rights and self-tapes are checked before a profile reaches you.
  • Every profile shows a score, the reason for its rank and where it came from.
  • The score works the same way for everyone, and you can reorder the list yourself.

Agental earns from both sides of the market.

  • Commission of 5% to 10% on what performers earn.
  • Performer plans at €19 to €79 a month add tools, and the top two lower the commission.
  • Software for casting teams at €99 a seat or €299 a month for a studio.
  • An artist agency registered with the French authorities, with a site in English, French and Spanish.

City Pretty

Prototype, built with Miles Silverman, October 2026

A public works director has a budget and no quick answer to one question: where does the next $100,000 do the most good? City Pretty prices that answer block by block.

One unit for every option

Modeled home value per public dollar across the LA Westside. Select a row.

Street trees return about $14.98 in nearby home value per public dollar, across 599 blocks at a total cost of $56M.

Who pays

Business improvement districts and city departments would buy an annual license. Longer term, better blocks raise property tax receipts that can fund the next round of work, though in California that gain arrives slowly, as homes sell. Financing districts are built to capture it.

What we are careful about

Rising value can push renters out, so a displacement-risk layer is part of the build plan. Every value here is modeled from low-end published effects and prices are untested. There is no pilot yet. Next come buyer interviews, a back-test against past sales, and satellite change detection.

  • 855 blocks scored or screened
  • 399k homes in six cities and unincorporated LA County
  • 215k street trees from city inventories
  • 36k vacant planting sites and stumps

Data: OpenStreetMap, Census, LA County Assessor, city tree inventories, Meta/WRI canopy, LAPD and Zillow.

Past projects

Electric Island

1st of 60 teams, USC Dual-Use Hackathon, October 2026

One switch design at every new home, transformer and line section, so a failing grid splits into islands of 1, 15 or 300 homes that run on their own solar and batteries.

Team project with Miles Silverman. We developed the concept in 48 hours, and Miles built the simulator afterward. Concept and rules-based simulation only, not tested on hardware.

  • 12 scenarios run in the simulator with zero safety-rule failures
  • 5.6× more home-hours powered with all-night caps than with none, on the hardest heat-wave night we modeled

Friendly Neighborhood

2nd of 46 teams, USC Origin Weekend, Fall 2026

A spring-loaded valve at the water meter that shuts a burned home's line on its own, with no power or signal, so hydrants keep pressure and contamination stays out of the city's pipes.

Team project led by Miles Silverman. Design concept, not yet built or heat-tested.

  • ~4,800 leaking connections at burned properties that LADWP crews shut off by hand after the Palisades Fire
  • ~200 of about 1,000 Palisades hydrants lost water

Build Forward

Founder, France, since March 2024

Ocean plastic and marine sediment turned into benches, tables and seats for parks, city halls and schools, with a label on each piece planned to explain what it is made of.

Partnerships with the cities of Hossegor and Biarritz, the Port of Bayonne and UNESCO ASPnet schools. Prototyped with the Plastic Odyssey team.

  • 1,800+ kg of marine waste collected
  • 50+ benches installed or in production across France
  • 1 of 5 youth delegates to the UN Environment Assembly in Nairobi, with Waves of Change
